Services

At Chubs, our mission is to support at-risk youth by providing empowering programs that promote personal growth, resilience, and healthy decision-making. Through our specialized services in drug education, life skills training, and community-building special events, we aim to equip young individuals with the tools they need to overcome challenges, avoid negative behaviors, and build a brighter future.

At Chubs, we recognize that at-risk youth face unique challenges, and we are dedicated to meeting them where they are. Our programs are designed with empathy, understanding, and a commitment to positive change. With our evidence-based approaches, we create a safe and supportive environment where youth can learn, grow, and overcome adversity. Through personalized attention, mentorship, and community support, we guide at-risk youth on a path toward brighter opportunities and a healthier future.

Chubs would work closely with schools, juvenile justice programs, social services, communities and youth organizations to offer targeted interventions and services. By focusing on both prevention and skill-building, Chubs aims to reduce the likelihood of substance abuse, criminal behavior, and social isolation among at-risk youth.

Drug education

Drug education classes are structured programs designed to inform students about the risks, effects, and consequences of drug and alcohol use. These classes typically cover:

  • Types of drugs (legal and illegal) and their effects on the body and mind

  • Short- and long-term consequences of substance abuse

  • Peer pressure and decision-making strategies

  • Prevention and intervention techniques

  • Resources for help and support

The goal of drug education is to promote healthy choices, prevent substance abuse, and support recovery and rehabilitation where needed.

Life skills

Life skills classes are programs designed to teach individuals practical skills necessary for navigating everyday challenges and responsibilities. These classes often focus on a variety of topics, such as:

  • Communication (verbal and non-verbal)

  • Problem-solving and critical thinking

  • Time management and organization

  • Financial literacy (budgeting, saving, etc.)

  • Decision-making and goal-setting

  • Stress management and emotional regulation

  • Interpersonal skills (conflict resolution, teamwork)

The aim is to equip students with the tools they need to succeed in personal, academic, and professional environments. Life skills classes help build confidence, independence, and resilience.

special events

Special events are organized activities designed to enhance learning, foster social connections, and provide unique experiences outside the classroom or usual setting.

  • Special Events: These can include guest speakers, cultural celebrations, or charity fundraisers. They offer students an opportunity to engage in something fun, educational, or community-focused.

  • Field Trips: These are outings that take students out of their usual environment to visit different places. Field trips provide hands-on learning experiences and help individuals gain a deeper understanding of the subject matter in real-world contexts.

Both special events and field trips are great for creating memorable experiences, promoting teamwork, and enriching educational goals.
